Point of view - the perspective from which the story is told.
First person point of view - the story is told by one of the characters.
Unreliable narrator - a narrator whose view of the world differs widely from the true situation recognized by the author and readers.
Third person point of view - a story is told by an outside observer; all the characters are referred to by name or by third person pronouns.
Intrusive narrator - a narrator who, in addition to reporting the events of a novel's story, offers further comments on characters and events, and who sometimes reflects more generally upon the significance of the story.
