Introduction
The purpose of this report is to evaluate tourism in Poland.In this report I will examine the following areas:- main tourist attractions- main tourist arrivals- market predictions
Main tourist attractions
Most tourist attractions in Poland are connected with historic sites and natural environment. Guest regularly visit places where they can meet folklore, taste local cuisine or take part in cultural events.Many famous attractions are in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Tourists often visit Old Town - they can find there many churches, palaces and beautiful alleyways. Most of the visitors rated Old Town as excellent place. It is very popular place entered into UNESCO list. They are also impressed by wonderful local treats in restaurants. Tourists are also fascinated by parks and gardens in Warsaw, especially by Lazienki Park. It is perfect place to relax and enjoy a scenery. Guests interested in history of Poland visit Royal Castle, National Museum of Warsaw, St. Anne's Church or Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Highly recommended is Palace of Culture and Science. It is the tallest building in Poland. It contains 42 floors at a height of 230.68 meters. Currently it is the 187th tallest building in the world.  Very popular tourist attraction is terrace with a panoramic view of the city.
Well-known tourist attractions are also in Cracow. Cracow's Historic Centre was entered into the UNESCO. Absolutely amazing places are Church of the Virgin Mary Cathedral, Gothic Wawel and Main Market Square - the largest in Europe. Cracow celebrated the 750th anniversary of receiving its town charter in 2007.
Wroclaw is main city of southwestern. The slogan of Wroclaw is: “Wroclaw - the meeting place” and it is definitely true. Young people can spend time here in many shopping mall, Botanical garden or Wroclaw's aquapark. There are also Market Square, Ostrow Tumski Bridge and famous Panorama of Raclawice Battle. The place which is frequently visited by tourists and the local populace is The Centennial Hall in Wroclaw. It was constructed by the architect Max Berg as a multi-purpose recreational building and in 2006 it was listed as a UNESCO.
Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp in Oswiecim is historical Polish place. It is the biggest extermination camp of the Third Reich and a symbol of terrifying human-to-human cruelty. Historical research showed that 1.5 million Jews was tortured and murdered by the Nazis. Oswiecim is indeed one of the most visited towns of Poland.
Biskupin is an archaeological site and a life-size model of an Iron Age fortified settlement (grod) in Poland. It belongs to the Biskupin group of the Lusatian culture. The excavation and the reconstruction of the prehistoric settlement have played an important part in Polish historical consciousness. The Museum is situated on a marshy peninsula in the Lake Biskupin. The excavation soon became part of Polish national consciousness, a symbol of the achievements of the Slavonic forebears in prehistoric times.
